With a surface of 647.797 km2 Manitoba is one most wide province of western Canada, in the Canadian Prairies.It joined the confederation in 1870.
Manitoba's capital is Winnipeg.
It borders to north with the Nunavut, the northeast with the Bay of the Hudson, to east with Ontario,the west with the Saskatchewan and south with North Dakota and Minnesota (USA states).
Manitoba's altitude goes from the sea level on the Bay of the Hudson,to 832 m of the Baldy mount.
89% of Manitoba's population is English-speaking , while the rest is subdivided between French and Amerindian-speaking.
Manitoba is known all around the world for the high quality of its produced flours.
