Alberta

Alberta is a province of western Canada, on the east side of Rocky Mountains.
It joined the confederation in 1905.
Alberta borders with the USA's state of Montana (USA) to south, British Columbia to the west, the Territories of Nord-Ovest to north and the Saskatchewan to east. Alberta's territory is an extended plateau, while its climate is continental with very cold but little snowy winters.
The main cities are Calgary and Edmonton.
Like written in the coat of arms, the maxim is Fortis ET Liber.
